About Mark Linden O’Meara

As an author, speaker, singer, comedian, and professor, Mark warms his audiences with his personal story, anecdotes and unexpected wit. He is an insightful writer who inspires his readers through his own journey of healing and change. Mark is the author of Prayers and Meditations for Daily Inspiration, Let Go and Heal, and Kitten and Bear and The Big Tree, and The Raindrop’s Journey. He has at least three more books in progress, one of which is a memoir of his cultural experiences from over 20 years of travelling to and living in China.

He has loved singing since he was a child and has finally recovered from a whiplash injury that caused him to lose his singing voice. His recovery journey led him to China during which he developed a strong knowledge of culture. With is commendable skill in Mandarin pronunciation and culture, he now acts as a bridge between the two cultures. He has been warmly received by audience when he sings Chinese songs at community events.  He is presently recording a collection of at least twenty songs for release in 2024.

Mark holds a Masters in Education (Counselling Psychology) and a Masters in Business Administration. He is also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and Certified Canadian Counsellor and also enjoys learning and practically applying new technologies. He is also the singer on parody songs that have been featured on syndicated radio.
